Natira Jones has been working as a landscape architect in Santa Barbara for over 10 years. Ms. Jones strives to create gardens that are both beautiful and sustainable. Ms. Jones family connections to Santa Barbara date back to the 1920s. As a youth, her family frequently visited Santa Barbara and she developed a personal attachment to the city. She understands that buildings and landscapes have a lasting effect on the city, especially when passing her family house designed by the late architect Joseph J. Plunkett.
